"Maya Shavit and the Efroni Choir: A Creative Musical-Pedagogical Model for Working with Youth Choirs"

This article was recently published at the Journal of Historical Research in Music Education*

It was written by Dr. Atara Isaacson: a musicologist, educator, lecturer, interdisciplinary artist and researcher at Bar-Ilan University.

She has served as the head of the music education certification track since 2006 and as the head of the doctoral track in music education since 2016.

This article follows the book she wrote, titled: "Maya Shavit and the Efroni Choir: From the Song of the Grass to the Melody of the Shepherd", which is undergoing review and will hopefully be published soon.
